How we use AI
Last updated October 18, 2026
We use AI tools as an assistant, not as an author or an expert.
Where it helps
- Summarizing long sources so an editor can find the relevant section faster.
- Suggesting an outline or a first draft that an editor then rewrites.
- Checking grammar and readability.
Where it is never used
- As a source of facts. Every claim must trace to a cited source an editor has opened.
- To create reviewer quotes, photos of people or credentials.
- To approve a guide. Only a person can publish, and only a licensed reviewer can sign off on a review.
